Kris Gorski has worn many hats throughout his long illustrious career and yet they can all be boiled
down to one undeniable truth. Whether it be as a solo artist, engineer, composer, soundtrack
creator, educator or performer, it is always the music that resonates deep within him. From Neo-
Classical and the sublime textures of on-screen narratives, to the spacious sprawling vistas of his
Polish heritage, his work is nothing less than extraordinary.
His journey through life has seen him venture full circle back to his homeland where he continues to
work as a musician and producer to this day. Raised in Poznań and beginning his formal education at the Henryk Wieniawski Comprehensive Music School No. 1, he completed his High School studies in UK. His desire to constantly learn resulted in Kris enrolling at the famous SAE Institute in Paris and a career that lasted over a decade in the French capital.
Engineering over 150 albums for other artists, it is hardly surprising that his own original work is
excellent beyond measure.
Capacious, sublime and gloriously intoxicating, his music reaches deep within the spirit and leaves it breathless with hope. Nowhere is this more obvious than with his latest work Impromptu Session 1 with renowned guitarist Piotr Krępeć. With Kris guiding and shaping the score as his fingers effortlessly glide across the piano, the album is a remarkable statement on the
work to come.
He continues to maintain relationships with musicians and film producers in France, England and Denmark. To build on those relationships he also co-founded APS which strives to make the very best tools for professionals working in the recording industry and give them access to his world class production company AudioPlanet.
For over two decades now, Kris has also been passionate about educating new generations of artiststo be the best versions of themselves in what can be a very competitive place to work. From teaching students at the Science University of Gdańsk, to standing up his own YouTube channel Na setkę and presenting at countless seminars, Kris is determined to pass on his knowledge and experience to fellow musicians and producers.
