Getting here and your stay

Łąkie is a small village in Kashubia, northern Poland, surrounded by forests, lakes and meadows. Here is everything worth knowing before you come to the studio.

How to get here

By car
Most guests come by car. From Gdańsk airport it is about 116 km and just under 2 hours, from Kościerzyna about an hour, and from Bytów or Miastko about half an hour. There is parking on site.

By plane
The nearest airport is Gdańsk. We can arrange a taxi pickup straight from the airport for about 140 € per ride. Taxi prices vary a little, and we will confirm the details when you book.

By train
The nearest working railway station is Miastko (Bytów has no rail service yet, and the line through Kościerzyna is under renovation). Getting from the station to the studio is up to you, for example by taxi.

Arrival and departure

If you are arriving later, let us know in advance and we will work something out.

🍽️ Breakfast and dinner in the artist package, 60 € per person per night. Vegetarian food; let us know about allergies or other preferences when booking.

🐾 Animals live here with us: two cats, a dog and two horses. If you are allergic to animal hair, please tell us before you arrive.

What to bring

👟 Indoor shoes. We don’t wear outdoor shoes in the house or the studio. If you forget, we have warm slippers for guests.
🎸 Your own instruments, if you want to play them. Headphones and all the other gear and instruments are here.
🧥 Warm clothes and walking shoes for walks in the forest and by the lake, as it can get muddy after rain.
